Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, models, and business scenarios to assess accuracy and factual consistency.

Your primary goal will be to solve complex financial and logical reasoning problems that test and train large language models. You will also be required to summarize financial reports or investment theses and validate claims through online research.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for finance and analytical thinking to work on projects fine-tuning large language models using their finance background and English comprehension skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solve complex financial and logical reasoning problems that test and train LLMs.
  • Analyze financial statements, models, and business scenarios to assess accuracy and factual consistency.
  • Summarize financial reports or investment theses and validate claims through online research.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications:

  • Cleared CFA Level 1/2/3 or completed CA / CPA certification or MBA in Finance.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and investment analysis.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to research, verify, and reason logically.
  • Excellent English comprehension and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable for this position:

  • Experience in roles like Financial Analyst, Financial Writer, Investment Analyst, Audit Associate, etc.
  • Familiarity with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in quantitative reasoning, logical deduction, and data interpretation.
Evaluation Process

Our evaluation process typically involves the following steps:

  • Shortlisted experts may be asked to complete an assessment.
  • If cleared, you will be contacted for contract assignments with expected start dates, durations, and end dates.
  • Some contracts require fixed weekly hours, averaging 20/30/40 hours per week for the duration of the contract assignment.
