Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop data pipelines connecting Aurora MySQL to Redshift Serverless to S3/QuickSight for efficient data processing.
  • Create data models, materialized views, and APIs to enable fast reporting and analytics, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Automate scheduled reporting workflows and exports for clients and administrators to ensure seamless data delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver actionable insights quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of our analytics infrastructure by continuously monitoring and optimizing it.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proven experience with the AWS data stack, including Aurora, Redshift, S3, and Lambda/EventBridge.
  • Solid foundation in SQL and data modeling, including fact/dimension schemas and materialized views.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools like QuickSight, Metabase, or Superset.
  • Good understanding of IAM, security, and data governance principles to ensure secure and compliant data handling.
Good to Have:
  • Experience with Python and libraries like awswrangler for data automation.
  • Exposure to ETL/ELT frameworks, such as Glue, Airflow, or dbt.
  • Knowledge of data lake best practices, including Parquet and partitioning.
  • Comfort with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or CDK.
  • Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS reporting architectures.
