Job Title: Snowflake Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer to design and develop data warehouses using the Snowflake cloud platform.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To design, develop, and maintain large-scale data warehouses using Snowflake.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data platforms.
  • To troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Snowflake.
  • To stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:
  • 7+ years of strong hands-on experience in SQL and Python programming languages.
  • 5+ years of in-depth experience working on the Snowflake cloud platform.
  • Expertise in designing and developing data warehouses using Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in creating tables, views, functions, stored procedures, and other database objects in Snowflake.
  • Strong experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Informatica, or Automic.
  • Hands-on experience with Shell scripting and JavaScript programming languages.
  • Exposure to CI/CD processes, especially using Jenkins.
  • Integration experience with APIs, Postman, S3, FTP, and encryption mechanisms.
  • Working knowledge of metadata, audit logs, and data lineage.
  • Familiarity with Git, Confluence, and Jira collaboration tools.
Secondary or Good to Have Skills:
  • Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid data platforms.
  • Understanding of data governance and security frameworks.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
