Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled performance engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical and communication skills, with a strong passion for performance testing and troubleshooting.

This role provides opportunities to work on the performance testing of various software applications and technologies in multiple business segments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, developing, and applying performance/scalability benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Benchmarking: Define, develop, and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.
  • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.
  • Performance Profiling: Use profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Experimentation and Testing: Devise and run experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Plan and execute performance tests using automated environments, analyze results.
  • Architecture and Design Reviews: Participate in architecture and design reviews, ensuring quality in cross-team engineering efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Performance Testing Experience: Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
  • Performance Testing Tools: Experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman).
  • Service-Oriented Architecture: Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance-tuning SQL queries.
  • JVM Tuning Techniques: Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
  • Performance Monitoring Tools: Experience with performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
  • Profiling Tools: Ability to efficiently use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks.

In addition to the above requirements, we are looking for candidates with experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), SAP BTP platform optimization, and knowledge of machine learning algorithms and O-Notation.

A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field is required, with certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer being a plus.
