Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Design & Engineering Support team for Railway Axle Counter solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide design & engineering support for Railway Axle Counter solutions, ensuring compliance with safety, signalling standards, and RAMS requirements.
  • Lead V&V (Verification & Validation) activities including First Time Right (FTR) checks to ensure quality and fail-safe product performance.
  • Liaise with RDSO and SAG & above level railway officers to address design, compliance, and product approval requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of product failures, propose corrective actions, and drive engineering improvements.
  • Manage engineering documentation, design reports, and ensure compliance with EN, IEC, IS standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for project management, design support, and cross-functional collaboration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring robust design support, compliance with international standards, and driving engineering excellence in both hardware and software domains.

Requirements:
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE) or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years' experience in Railway Signalling domain.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fail-safe signalling product design (HW/SW) and embedded systems.
  • Hands-on understanding of EN, IEC, IS standards and railway signalling & interlocking concepts.
  • Expertise in RAMS methodologies including MTBF, RBD, FTA, and reliability calculations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across all levels.
  • Proven ability in project management, root cause analysis, and vendor/railway officer liaisoning.
