About the Role

We are seeking a technical leader to head our engineering team in developing and scaling complex software products. Our systems rely on microservices architecture, leveraging technologies like Node.js (NestJS), ReactJS, GraphQL APIs, multiple databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB), and multi-cloud deployments (AWS & GCP).

This role will play a vital part in ensuring that our software is secure, reliable, and scalable while enabling seamless integrations with platforms like Shopify, Easyecom, Clickpost.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend, frontend, and full-stack engineers.
  2. Define and maintain technical direction for microservices-based systems and event-driven architecture.
  3. Guide engineers in building robust integrations with third-party platforms and internal services.
  4. Ensure best practices in API-driven development (GraphQL, REST, event streams) and system interoperability.
  5. Oversee cloud infrastructure across AWS & GCP, leveraging key AWS services for distributed and scalable systems.
  6. Manage data infrastructure with MongoDB and DynamoDB, ensuring efficient, high-performance queries and resilience at scale.
  7. Partner with Product and Business stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals.
  8. Implement processes for CI/CD, observability, incident management, and cost-optimized cloud operations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
  • Strong technical foundation in Node.js (NestJS), ReactJS, and API design (GraphQL, REST).
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Easyecom, Clickpost.
  • Knowledge of working with MongoDB, DynamoDB, and distributed data systems.
  • Expertise with AWS and GCP cloud environments.
  • Experience implementing engineering best practices in CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
