Job Description

About this role:

The EDI Tester will be responsible for validating healthcare EDI transactions such as 834, 837, 847, and 27X series. This position demands hands-on experience with Facets, SQL, and US healthcare domain knowledge, including claims, enrollment, and benefits.

This opportunity requires a candidate with strong analytical skills to validate inbound and outbound EDI files using tools like AE2, EDIFACTS, and Facets. The ideal candidate should have experience with Agile methodologies and project delivery.

Key responsibilities include performing functional and regression testing of EDI transactions, analyzing requirement documents, creating test scenarios, test cases, and mock data, executing batch jobs, and validating data flow across systems.

This role also involves logging defects in ALM/JIRA and coordinating with development teams for resolution, maintaining traceability matrices, and test evidence repositories, and collaborating with offshore teams and clients for delivery and defect triage.
