Site Reliability Engineer - Infrastructure Expert

 

Job Description:

  • A Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) plays a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and sustainability of our infrastructure and services. You will be part of a highly collaborative team focused on provisioning and maintaining infrastructure with a strong emphasis on reliability and security.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Linux servers and workstations, including knowledge of typical Linux troubleshooting tools and a broad understanding of Ubuntu and RedHat.
  • Ability to automate tasks through scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Go.
  • Proficiency in providing automated test coverage for various implementations.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, Puppet, Splunk, JIRA, Vault, Docker, AWS, and other cloud services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers.

  • Capacity Planning: Forecast resource requirements based on traffic patterns and business growth.

 

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Implement security controls and participate in security audits.
