We are on the hunt for a passionate Senior Software Engineer - Big Data who thrives in a fast-paced, agile setting. As a key member of our Big Data team, you will coordinate the development of various data-driven features and products that drive our cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate development efforts across teams to deliver high-quality features and data solutions.
  • Design and perform POCs for new platforms and features.
  • Engineer scalable analytics solutions using AWS cloud services.
  • Implement data pipelines with a focus on real-time processing using Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Spark.
  • Develop batch processing solutions with Spark, ensuring robust and reliable data processing.
  • Work with microservices architecture to deliver optimized performance.
  • Deploy solutions using Kubernetes and ensure high availability of systems.
  • Utilize monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana for performance tracking and troubleshooting.

Who You Are:

You're a motivated software engineer with a passion for big data and cloud technologies, ready to bring new ideas to the table. If you have:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on distributed systems using big data technologies.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Core Java development, with additional knowledge in Scala being a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience with big data technologies, specifically real-time data processing and ETL jobs.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Confluent Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Spark (both streaming and batch).
  • Strong skills in AWS cloud services, Kubernetes, and microservices applications.
  • Experience with SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra) databases.
  • Good to have knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and logging mechanisms like EFK.
  • Proficiency in DevOps and CICD tools like Azure DevOps, Chef, Puppet, and GitHub.
  • Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and general programming skills.
