Job Title: DevOps Observability Specialist

About the Role:

This is a hands-on technical leadership position with a strong focus on building and maintaining enterprise-grade observability solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable observability systems using OpenTelemetry (metrics, logs, traces).
  • Develop custom collectors, exporters, and automation tools in Python.
  • Implement data visualization dashboards in Grafana and optimize logging in Splunk.
  • Manage event streaming pipelines with Kafka.
  • Deploy and monitor observability components in Kubernetes.
  • Build and optimize continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Drive DevOps maturity assessments, adoption strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, AWS, Splunk, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Shell, Groovy, YAML.
  • Familiarity with databases (Postgres, MySQL, InfluxDB, Prometheus, RDS, NoSQL).
  • Knowledge of storage systems (NetApp, VMAX, Pure, PMAX).
  • Strong exposure to monitoring tools – Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, ELK.
  • Agile/Scrum/SAFe environment experience.
