About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Cloud Support Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to customers across various industries and regions. Your expertise will help customers troubleshoot complex issues, implement innovative solutions, and optimize their use of AWS services.

A day in the life of a Cloud Support Engineer is always exciting and challenging. You'll work with customers to understand their needs, identify root causes of issues, and develop effective solutions. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of cloud computing principles, architecture, and security best practices. You should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat channels.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, develop solutions, and implement them efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer success and product innovation.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a technical position, preferably in the cloud industry.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, DNS, HTTP, SSL, SFTP, TCP, and UDP.
  • Experience with web-based services and applications, Apache, Tomcat, etc.
  • Knowledge of client/server and distributed systems architectures.
  • Strong Unix/Linux or Windows system administration skills.
Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

  • Understanding of Content Delivery Networks (CDN) and network troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience working with REST API-based services and operating systems and networking security concepts.
  • Prior working experience with AWS services, such as CloudFront, Simple Email Service, and AWS Elemental Media Services.
  • Strong written, verbal, and documentation skills to effectively communicate with customers and peers.
