Chattels Design, a renowned home interior design company in Bangalore, seeks a skilled Project Manager for Premium Projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering projects on time with exceptional quality. As the primary point of contact for customers, you will ensure a seamless experience throughout the project timeline from partial design to complete execution and handover.

  • Proficient in reviewing 2D/3D drawings across various disciplines, including Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry.
  • Identify potential design discrepancies and execution risks to mitigate issues.
  • Verify and review work orders, BOQs, and drawings to guarantee accuracy.
  • Create detailed project execution schedules highlighting task interdependencies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress remotely to maintain quality control.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects that meet customer expectations and requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and instructions to Site Supervisors (Project Executives).
  • Keep customers informed about project updates through regular site reports.
  • A liaison between designers and customers during the execution phase of projects.
  • Update project trackers and summaries, sharing weekly progress reports with stakeholders.
  • Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks, develop corrective solutions, and implement changes.
  • Maintain the highest quality standards in your projects, ensuring excellent customer experiences.
  • Evaluate and enforce compliance with Checklist and Work Method Statements at project sites.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on initiatives like SOPs, pricing, and new business strategies.
  • Nurture vendor relationships and address concerns promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Management Graduate or Construction Management degree from a Tier I/Tier II Institute is preferred.
  • Strong Project Management/Engineering/Architecture background with 3+ years of experience is essential.
  • Understanding of site execution for home renovations is crucial.
  • Able to assess design feasibility, visualize site conditions, and foresee execution risks.
  • Process-driven professionals with quick problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and demonstrate high ownership.
  • Capable of learning and adapting quickly.
  • Previous experience in Project Management/Operations is a must for this role.
  • Experience working with Ops-focused startups is a plus.
  • Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and possesses strong data analysis skills.
