Job Title: Retail/QSR Functional ConsultantWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead business transformation initiatives across retail and quick-service restaurant (QSR) operations. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving customer engagement and operational efficiency.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in retail or QSR consulting, business analysis, or solution delivery. They should possess a strong understanding of retail/QSR operations, including POS, loyalty, CRM, inventory, and customer experience.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct workshops to understand client pain points, business processes, reporting & dashboarding needs
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications
Techno Functional Aspects:
  • Translate the functional specifications derived from the workshop to a technical fit document
  • Identify & highlight feature/reporting/dashboarding gaps
  • Collaborate with technical teams to configure and deploy systems aligned with business goals
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to marketing, operations, and IT teams
  • Ensure alignment between business strategy and technology roadmap
Effective Onboarding:
  • Ensure all functional specifications are deployed in the software (reports, dashboards, models, audiences etc)
  • Train super users of our clients on the platform
  • Explain the support mechanism and set cadences for support/business related queries
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in retail or QSR consulting, business analysis, or solution delivery
  • Strong understanding of retail/QSR operations: POS, loyalty, CRM, inventory, and customer experience
  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation tools & how they function
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics) is preferred
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, client-facing environments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with omnichannel retail or QSR transformation projects
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and API integrations
