Job Title: Laboratory Instructor

A dedicated and skilled professional is required to lead laboratory sessions for students in allied and healthcare programs.

The ideal candidate will assist faculty members in delivering practical training, maintaining lab safety, and ensuring the availability and calibration of lab equipment.

  • Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions for undergraduate students in allied and healthcare programs.
  • Collaborate with academic faculty to develop laboratory content aligned with theoretical components of the course.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and ensure timely calibration and servicing.
  • Enforce safety protocols, infection control measures, and proper waste disposal practices.
  • Provide technical support to students during skill development and internal assessments.
  • Participate in curriculum review and development of new laboratory manuals.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree (minimum) in relevant Allied and Healthcare field from a recognized university.
  • Master's Degree or additional certifications is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in a laboratory/clinical setting or academic institution.
  • Prior experience in academic instruction is an added advantage.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in handling laboratory equipment.
  • Strong communication and instructional skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards.
  • Basic computer literacy for academic documentation and report generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the learning needs of students.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in laboratory techniques.
