A seasoned cloud architect is required to advise executives on cloud operating models, reducing IT support noise and improving application availability through new support methods and tooling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and solving complex problems by defining and driving initiatives to increase overall application availability.
  • Building tooling needed to improve observability of performance and operations efficiency.
  • Enhancing monitoring and management tooling to better detect, diagnose, and correct problems.
  • Participating with developers to develop new features and automation to solve operational challenges.

The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud native dashboarding & alerting, scalable architectures, and performance tuning, as well as a passion for resolving reliability issues and identifying strategies to mitigate them.

Essential Functions:
  • A former developer with experience troubleshooting applications end-to-end.
  • A DevOps/GitOps mindset with a vision for AIOPs.
  • Cloud Native dashboarding & alerting.
  • Experience with scalable architectures and performance tuning.

Must have experience with Dynatrace, Big Panda, Datadog or New Relic. Highly desired hands-on skills include Grafana, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Splunk, and cloud native tools for alerting and logging.
