Senior ETL Tester

This role involves testing large-scale data pipelines to ensure high-quality, consistent and accurate data in event-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test ETL processes and reconcile data across systems.
  • Validate data quality and throughput in Kafka/Redpanda pipelines.
  • Write and run MongoDB queries for data verification.
  • Create test cases, defect reports, and collaborate with developers/product teams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
  • Familiarity with process methodologies used in the software industry.
Tech Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of ETL testing, data validation, and reconciliation.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka/Redpanda, Git, CI/CD, JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Bonus Points:
  • Scripting skills in Python/Java for automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to Flink/Spark or other streaming frameworks.
Work Environment:
  • Remote and/or office work setting.
  • Flexible working hours based on team/client needs.
