Senior SPM Mechanical Designer Role

This is a full-time on-site position for a Senior Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Mechanical Designer.

The incumbent will be responsible for designing special purpose machines, creating detailed mechanical drawings, and collaborating with other design and engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software such as UG NX to develop designs that meet project standards.
  • Perform calculations to ensure designs meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with CAD software and mechanical designing.
  • Skills in designing special purpose machines (SPM).
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and calculations.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role is preferred.
