Job Title: Database Administrator (DBA)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DBA to join our team. As a DBA, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain database systems using Microsoft SQL Server
  • Develop and implement data models, database schema, and stored procedures
  • Ensure database performance, security, and integrity
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve database-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a DBA, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of database design, implementation, and management
  • Experience with data modeling, database performance tuning, and backup/restore processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mastery of Azure SQL and related cloud services
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and database automation tooling
  • Strong understanding of change management policies and procedures
