Job Description

As a backend engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable systems that integrate with various third-party services and APIs.

You will work closely with our platform engineering team to develop high-throughput systems capable of processing millions of transactions daily.

Key responsibilities include building RESTful and GraphQL APIs for internal and external consumption, creating robust webhook handlers for real-time event processing, and architecting scalable microservices supporting a multi-tenant SaaS architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Expertise in building robust webhook handlers for real-time event processing
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization systems (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys)
  • Experience in architecting scalable microservices and designing event-driven systems using message queues for asynchronous processing
  • Ability to design systems capable of handling 10,000+ concurrent requests
