Lead Clinical Programmer: Statistical Expertise Required">

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Clinical Programmer to join our team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with expertise in SDTM, ADAM & TLFs who can leverage SAS and other software tools to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop custom programming code for summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets (TLFs) utilizing SAS or other software.
  • Ensure outputs meet quality standards and project requirements through rigorous validation and testing.
  • Collaborate with programmers and biostatisticians to resolve discrepancies and drive project success.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring readiness for inspection and audit.
  • Manage project timelines and scheduling to ensure efficient delivery of results.
  • Develop specifications for datasets and outputs based on statistical and sponsor requirements.
  • Anticipate and address potential programming issues to minimize delays and optimize programming efficiency.
  • Conduct effective meetings and ensure action items are completed in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate and establish accurate time estimates for project activities.
  • Act as the lead programmer, directing programming activities and monitoring progress.
  • Review project documentation, providing feedback to reduce inefficiencies and improve outcomes.
  • Participate in sponsor meetings, kickoff meetings, and bid defense meetings as required.
  • Contribute to the development of training courses and provide feedback to new associates.
  • Transfer deliverables upon project completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end clinical statistical programming (SDTM, ADAM & TLGs).
  • Extensive experience with SAS or other required software, preferably in a clinical trial environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in a scientific or statistical discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Experience in performing validation programming and troubleshooting.
