We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness by verifying transactions and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to maintain accurate accounting records by applying financial principles and regulations.
- Prepare and verify general ledger balances to ensure financial reporting compliance by analyzing and interpreting financial data.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to meet regulatory requirements by coordinating with other departments and ensuring deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A relevant certification such as CPA or CMA is an asset.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management is required.
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and accounting principles is essential for this role.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial reporting tools is necessary for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with IFRS/Ind AS is preferred.
