Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an accomplished educator to fill the position of a School Science Specialist. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals with expertise in teaching and training teachers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and delivering high-quality workshops and courses, as well as preparing capacity-building program plans in STEM. They will also be responsible for analyzing feedback from training participants and providing direction for the STEM program in alignment with current educational policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed program frameworks, teaching plans, and workshop modules for effective implementation.
  • Conduct research-based specialized content and instructions to achieve workshop goals and objectives.
  • Regularly conduct training need assessments, baseline and end-line assessments, and conceptualise, design, and conduct research on regular basis.
  • Document progress on allocated tasks, prepare and submit training reports, classroom observation reports, events, and other reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3-6 years of relevant experience in capacity-building programs in Teacher Education.
  • M.Sc. (Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry), B.Ed or an equivalent degree.
