Test Lead Position Overview

This role is accountable for spearheading the Quality Assurance (QA) function, ensuring high-quality delivery across all project phases. The QA strategy will be aligned with the bank's digital transformation goals.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate business requirements, identify defects, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards. They will drive continuous improvement in QA processes and mentor QA teams across locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute QA plans for Core Banking implementations.
  • Design test strategies for functional, integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing.
  • Lead QA teams and coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Vendors.
  • Review and validate Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements through test cases and defect tracking.
  • Oversee defect triaging, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
  • Effective defect management, reporting, and escalations.
  • Ensure readiness for production cutover through rigorous testing and simulation.
