Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Expert to join our team at NTT DATA.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software technical consultancy, with a focus on the banking industry and Temenos Core Banking System (Transact).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical expertise to stakeholders and contribute to the definition of additional standard enhancements.
  2. Liaise with the Lead Technical Consultant and related Functional Consultants to understand the full solution required and proceed with the technical implementation accordingly.
  3. Focus on more technical problems, generally without day-to-day supervision or direction.
  4. Install custom enhancements and validate technical setup and conduct necessary testing to ensure user acceptance and global quality of the solution delivered.
  5. Advise the client on the setting up of a production environment and on the running of the T24/TCB products including database administration.
  6. Provide clear and concise technical documentation for internal and external use.
  7. Conduct client technical training as necessary.
  8. Provide regular update and feedback to the Project Manager on implementation success, potential delays and resources needs adjustments in order to achieve project goals.
  9. Coordinate with the maintenance groups to ensure that the product problems encountered by the client are understood and resolved.
  10. Supervise, if and when needed, over specific technical parts of the implementation plan.

Requirements

  1. Experience working on Temenos Core Banking System (Transact) is a must.
  2. Professional with a minimum of 7 years of experience in software technical consultancy, in a banking environment with at least 5 years on Transact Arrangement Architecture.
  3. Technical knowledge: JAVA, ORACLE 9 (or above) operating systems knowledge and functionality of UNIX, AS400 and NT. Exposure to mainframes.
  4. Should be well versed with Agile mode of delivery.
  5. Should have a good understanding of Transact APIs.
  6. Design thinking, ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations, communicate in a clear non-ambiguous manner, conduct requirements workshops, drive decision making.
  7. Pro-active, quick learner, ability to effectively work in multi-cultural and multi-national teams.
  8. Positive attitude and ability to engage with different stakeholders managing scope and expectations skilfully.
