Senior Copywriter Job Description

As a Senior Copywriter, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of writers and graphic designers, driving the creation of engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.

  • Translate marketing goals into effective copy, encompassing lead generation to brand storytelling.
  • Generate ideas and scripts for short-form videos, reels, ads, and other digital assets.
  • Churn out high-quality copy for various communication pieces, including social media content, web pages, digital ads, brochures, press ads, emailers, posters, WhatsApp messages, SMS, web banners, blogs, and other digital assets.
  • Work on nurture campaigns, reminder emails, and growth-focused messaging.
  • Craft sharp CTAs, headlines, and hooks grounded in psychology and user behavior.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to build wireframes and final creatives.
  • Balance volume with quality and consistently deliver strong output across multiple touchpoints.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in copywriting.
  • Prior experience working in an advertising agency is preferred.
  • A strong portfolio that showcases your ability to think fresh across different formats.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams, especially with designers and marketers.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to generate ideas across performance and brand.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.
  • Ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences.
  • Take responsibility and ownership of the copy and see it through completion.
