Finance Analyst Role

The role of a Finance Analyst at our company involves preparing and reviewing management information systems, accounting, and handling respective line items of profit and loss reporting.

You will drive automation initiatives in MIS and reporting wherever required and perform detailed variance analysis for revenue & reversals, identifying key drivers of variances.

Providing insights to management for informed decision-making, you will also prepare audit schedules, aging reports, financial disclosures, and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.

Additionally, you will manage accounts receivables and coordinate with stakeholders for timely collections, as well as propose and implement improvements to existing processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • MIS & P&L Reporting: Preparing and reviewing MIS, accounting, and handling respective line items of P&L reporting.
  • Variance Analysis: Performing detailed variance analysis for revenue & reversals, and identifying key drivers of variances.
  • Audit, Compliance & Controls: Preparing audit schedules, aging reports, financial disclosures, and ensuring timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • Accounts Receivable & Reporting: Managing accounts receivables and coordinating with stakeholders for timely collections.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying gaps in existing processes and proposing/implementing improvements.
Requirements
  • CA Inter qualified with 2+ years of post-qualification experience in MIS, accounting, financial reporting, or related domains.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, and audit practices.
  • Hands-on experience with variance analysis, ageing, receivables management, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, accounting software (SAP/Oracle/Zoho Books), and familiarity with automation tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
