Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Zos System Architect to join our team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in z/OS system software installation, configuration and maintenance. They will also be responsible for managing hardware components and security software related to z/OS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure and maintain z/OS system software.
  • Manage hardware components and security software related to z/OS systems.
  • Develop and maintain Assembler code and user exits.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and ensure efficient workload management using WLM.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with z/OS installation and configuration.
  • Strong experience with HCD, z15/z16 hardware configurations, and security software.
  • Proficiency in TSO/ISPF, REXX, and Parallel SYSPLEX.
  • Experience with SMPE for patch management and system maintenance.
