  • As a Senior Data Architect, you will design and lead the development of data solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Responsibilities include implementing and automating data pipelines and workflows using cutting-edge technologies such as DBT, DataVault (AutomateDV), Snowflake, Airflow, and GitLab.
  • Collaboration is key; you will work closely with engineering and business teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet expectations.
  • You will mentor senior and junior team members on best practices, architecture, and development techniques.
  • Evaluation and recommendation of new technologies and tools to enhance team capabilities is also part of your role.
  • Conducting code reviews and implementing robust testing strategies to ensure high standards of quality and performance are essential.
  • Managing and optimizing data storage and processing within Snowflake for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness is a critical aspect of this position.
  • Working with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to automate and streamline data workflows and deployment processes is also required.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or related fields, with at least 3 years in an architecture or leadership role.
  • Extensive experience with DBT, DataVault (AutomateDV), Snowflake, Airflow, and GitLab is necessary.
  • Strong experience designing scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines and storage solutions is required.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms, especially Snowflake, and big data technologies is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels are must-haves.
  • Ability to mentor and lead teams in building high-performance, maintainable data solutions is crucial.
