To be successful in this position, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on software QA methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Python, Java, or Shell.
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing reusable common-lib modules for UI steps, data-driven testing, SOAP/REST API, JSON parsing, AODA compliance, PDF test, ETL support, and extending it to Mobile UI testing.
  2. Architecting RAPID Automation Test Management Platform, a 24/7 self-sustaining system for executing automation regression test scripts.
  3. Supporting REST API workflows with automated test case generation, JSON assertions, and data encryption.
