Alliance University is a renowned institution located in Karnataka State, India. Established in 2010, the university has gained recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. Our state-of-the-art campus in Bengaluru offers a wide range of degree courses, including programs in Business Management, Engineering, Law, Liberal Arts, Economics, Science, and Applied Mathematics.
Responsibilities
This role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in specific subjects or fields. You will be expected to utilize innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning, supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations, conduct high-quality research, publish research findings in reputable international journals, and participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other service activities. Additionally, you will be required to mentor students and junior faculty, engage in community outreach, promote the university's international profile, build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and organizations abroad, and participate in faculty exchange programs and international conferences.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with a strong academic background and at least eight years of experience in teaching and research at a reputable institution. For Assistant Professor, we require a doctoral degree in Computer Science & Engineering or related areas from a top-notch institution with strong research and academic background. Associate Professor must have a Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale) and a doctoral degree in Computer Science Engineering or related areas from a top-notch institution with strong research and academic background. Professor of Practice must have minimum 15 years of experience or practice in relevant renowned industries with significance to the university's curriculum. A formal academic degree (such as a Ph.D.) is not mandatory, but the candidate must have demonstrated expertise and achievements that align with the university's mission and academic goals.
Salary and Benefits
The salary is highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract duration is three years, with the possibility of renewal.
