Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead our developer-focused data science team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, forecasting algorithms, and software engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and deploy forecasting algorithms using industry best practices.
  2. Work on time series modeling and other predictive modeling techniques.
  3. Implement and experiment with ML models as part of a developer-focused data science team.
  4. Develop scalable data pipelines and solutions using Python and PySpark.
  5. Collaborate across engineering and analytics teams to deliver production-ready ML solutions.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in a developer role focused on ML model implementation, experimentation, and related software engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python and PySpark development.
  • Experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on forecasting algorithms.
  • General software development experience.
  • Experience with Azure services, including:
    • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
    • Azure Pipelines
    • Azure DevOps
  • Skills & Tools:
    • Forecasting models and time series techniques (ARIMA, Prophet, exponential smoothing, etc.)
    • ML model development and evaluation
    • Python (must-have)
    • PySpark (must-have)
    • ML Ops tools and CI/CD workflows in Azure environment
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline
