Job Description

This role involves analyzing a large amount of information from various sources, breaking down complex data into manageable parts and identifying gaps in an organization's capabilities to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dive into the analysis of multifaceted information provided by multiple sources
  • Decompose high-level information into detailed components, transforming abstract concepts into clear understanding of requirements
  • Identify areas that require change to achieve objectives and document these as well as solution opportunities
  • Develop precise specifications based on standard templates using natural language
  • Articulate business requirements in a concise and accurate manner for stakeholders to understand
  • Document and maintain requirements through rigorous requirements analysis and verification
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to comprehend business issues and translate them into efficient solutions beneficial to our clients
  • Utilize effective facilitation skills and techniques to extract requirements from diverse stakeholders and group sizes
  • Apply strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Display excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Recognize when and how to utilize business assessment tools (e.g. feasibility studies, business cases, project sizing and costing)
  • Understand the intricate relationships between people, processes, and technology within an organization
  • Prioritize process-oriented thinking and logical reasoning
  • Develop and execute negotiation and influencing strategies
  • Gain experience in planning and estimating full SDLC activities
  • Manage self to meet established deadlines on multiple assignments
  • Mastery of complex tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new concepts
  • Experience in System Integration and working within matrix environments
  • Proficiency in test strategy development, test planning, establishing test data, executing test scenarios and managing/tracking issues
  • Skilled in utilizing Visio or other process or flow chart tools
  • Strong knowledge of business processes related to supported business channels
  • Ability to interact with clients at varying levels to gather, document, and analyze system specifications and requirements
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
  • Minimum 3-5 years of mutual fund or financial industry experience in operations and/or project roles
  • Experience with AWD application (preferred) or other workflow applications
  • System configuration and workflow update expertise
  • Strong Retirement Plan business knowledge
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Capacity to translate complex business requirements into detailed functional and/or technical specifications
  • Alternative solution development and recommendation skills
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communicator - discussing commercial and technical solutions internally and externally
  • Attention to detail - track record of producing high-quality documentation
  • Organized approach - adapting priorities according to client and internal requirements
