E-Reader Operating System Developer

Our team is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our E-reader product development initiative.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in C/C++ programming and design patterns. Experience with React Native is also a plus.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing critical components of the operating system, as well as low-level components that ensure the E-reader's performance, security, and power efficiency.

You will work closely with experienced engineers to conceive, design, and bring innovative features to market. You will also collaborate with internal teams to architect and design secure software that protects customer data stored on the devices.

A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for building highly efficient systems, and a willingness to learn from others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop critical components of the operating system
  • Develop low-level components to ensure E-reader performance, security, and power efficiency
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to conceive and design innovative features
  • Work with internal teams to architect and design secure software
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
