Senior Interior Designer Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Interior Designer to spearhead and manage our design studio. As a senior team member, you will be responsible for developing innovative, functional, and high-quality interior solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design team in creating cutting-edge interior designs that showcase your expertise.
  • Manage the end-to-end design process from concept development to final execution, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and minimize potential issues.
  • Effectively communicate design intent to clients and deliver compelling presentations that demonstrate your work.
  • Stay current with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers to foster a strong design culture within the organization.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in interior design, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Strong expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop (or similar design tools).
  • A proven portfolio showcasing executed residential and/or commercial interior projects that demonstrate your expertise.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.
