Job Description

 

As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of complex customizations for e-commerce platforms using Java Full Stack technologies.

 

  • Customization & Development: You will lead the design, development and implementation of complex customizations for e-commerce platforms using Java Full Stack technologies.
  • Technical Consultation: You will act as a technical consultant to various business units, translating business requirements into technical solutions and providing expert guidance on implementation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: You will proactively engage with and manage expectations of diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and other technical teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

 

  • 6+ years of extensive experience in Java Full Stack development.
  • Mandatory and significant experience in the E-commerce or D2C domain.
  • Proven expertise in Java (Core Java, Spring Boot/Spring Framework) for building robust backend services.
  • Strong front-end development skills with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and related technologies (HTML5, CSS3).
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of e-commerce tools and platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify Plus, Hybris, commercetools, custom-built e-commerce systems).
  • Deep, end-to-end understanding of D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) business processes, including order management, inventory, payments, shipping, customer service, and analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience in customization work on large-scale applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient stakeholder management experience, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and build strong relationships.
  • Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and experience with ORMs.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Prior experience in a consulting-oriented role or environment.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
