Senior Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative data products and the modernization of existing platforms.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned data engineer with hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and architectures in both on-premises and cloud environments, particularly AWS. This individual will serve as a Cloud Development expert, mentoring and guiding other data engineers as they enhance their cloud skillsets.

Responsibilities:
  • Data Engineering & Architecture:
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products.
  • Develop and optimize ELT/ETL processes using various tools and technologies.
  • Support and evolve data models that drive operational and analytical workloads.
  • Modernize legacy Oracle-based systems and migrate workloads to cloud-native platforms.
  • Cloud Development & DevOps (AWS-Focused):
  • Build, deploy, and manage cloud-native data solutions using AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Step Functions).
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
  • Ensure scalability, resilience, and compliance of AWS-based data platforms.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with product managers, analysts, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Contribute to the data platform modernization roadmap and support new product delivery.
