Job Title: Electrical Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrical design specialist to develop 3D models and 2D drawings of various electrical systems for industrial facilities.

  • Design Development: Utilize Revit software to create accurate and detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of electrical systems, including single-line diagrams of power systems, layouts for electrical cable trays, equipment, and duct banks, interconnection and hook-up drawings, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure clash-free system designs.
  • Project Management: Manage assigned scope to meet agreed-upon schedules while adhering to project quality standards.
  • Mentoring and Training: Train new staff members on electrical design tools and practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to self-check and produce accurate work.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: A Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred but an ITI or NCTVT in Electrical is also acceptable.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in electrical detail design. Hands-on experience with Revit is mandatory, specifically in 3D modeling, cable tray, duct bank, and conduit design.
  • Leadership: Proven experience as a lead designer on projects for executing electrical scope is an advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to work independently as a committed team player.

The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Revit and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure all designs are accurate, clash-free, and meet project requirements.
