We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to lead our technology innovation and product development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data engineering jobs/processes with architects and data modelers.

  • You will collaborate with product owners to understand business needs and develop practical solutions.
  • Advanced SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, materialized views, and views are essential skills for this role.
  • We are looking for someone with experience in Cloud Data Warehouse solutions, data modeling, analysis, programming, and DevOps models.
  • Candidates should also have knowledge of CI/CD tools, Azure Cloud Platform, ADLS, Blob, Talend, Apache Airflow, TWS, Azure Data Factory, and BI tools like Tableau.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners to understand business needs.
  • Design technical details of data engineering jobs/processes with architects and data modelers.
  • Lead sessions with data engineers to solve technical challenges.
  • Develop and enhance data processing components (ingest, transformation, store, management, quality).
  • Contribute to setting up and refining data engineering best practices.
  • Ensure coding standards, best practices, and production-deployable code are met.
  • Support and troubleshoot data environments, performance tuning, and documentation.
  • Build relationships with multiple teams within the organization.
  • Define practical solutions and master new skills.
  • Apply Agile practices and methodologies.

Requirements

  • A 4-year Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or related field is required.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Data Engineering is necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
