Job Opportunity: Data Engineer
">- Experience in data engineering with a focus on analytics and big data is highly valued. We require the ideal candidate to possess strong technical expertise.
- The Data Engineer will need expertise in analytic data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake and Databricks SQL.
- Strong proficiency in ETL tools like SSIS and knowledge of big data frameworks like Cloudera is also required.
- Advanced skills in SQL including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning are expected.
- Proficiency in PySpark for data processing and transformation is essential.
- Experience with various databases and file formats including MS SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, AWS S3, JSON, CSV, XML, and Excel is necessary.
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS is an added advantage.
- A solid understanding of cloud platforms specifically AWS is mandatory.
- Experience with version control systems like GitHub and SVN is required.
- Familiarity with ticket tracking systems like Jira is preferred.
- Experience with development environments such as Visual Studio and SSMS is beneficial.
