Job Role: Patch Automation Expert

We seek a detail-driven and highly motivated professional to craft, develop, test, and maintain automation scripts for patch management processes across various systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop automation scripts (Python/PowerShell/Bash) to streamline patch management workflows.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate scripts into existing CI/CD pipelines and automation platforms.
  • Maintain deep understanding of infrastructure components, application dependencies, and system interactions for effective patch deployment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to automated patching, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Partner with Security and Network Operations teams to ensure patching activities align with internal compliance and security requirements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation and patch management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in automation scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Harness, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of patch management processes across Windows, Linux, and/or cloud environments.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Ability to analyze system logs and troubleshoot issues in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams.
