Job Summary

This role is centered around ensuring the seamless operation of SAP systems, encompassing database, hardware, and peripherals interfacing. Responsibilities include:

  • Installation and version upgrades of SAP systems
  • Management of Corrections and Transport Systems (CTS) and Change Management processes
  • Support for all aspects of SAP management, Solution Manager Module, and SAP performance tuning
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical design and implementation of global SAP implementations.

  • SAP system monitoring and support
  • SAP print services and queues administration
  • SAP system performance and capacity planning
  • Collaboration with Global Data Center, technical, and functional staff as needed
  • Leading upgrade and maintenance projects to improve information on hardware, data transfer, replication, restoration, or other necessary activities
  • Improving process performance and reliability of production systems with business application staff
  • Rigorous performance, reliability, and capacity testing on new applications before live implementation
  • Establishing documenting and monitoring procedures
  • Addressing system issues, resolving and escalating problems to appropriate groups
  • Implementing technologies and processes to automate system monitoring and performance benchmarking
  • Overseeing daily tasks and developing Basis skills of Operation Technicians
  • Maintaining disaster recovery documentation
  • Participating in Disaster Recovery Testing
  • Supporting and investigating change requests to system functionality
  • Applying OSS note fixes to programs when necessary
  • System performance monitoring, trouble shooting, and improvement
  • Full support of MGI governance and compliance responsibilities
  • Coordinating technical requirements for special Projects
Requirements

candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • 6 to 8+ years of SAP Basis experience in a technical position
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, BW, Solution Manager, and SAP Cloud systems like IBP, Integration Suite, and others SAP systems
  • Operating Systems (IBM System i, Windows, NT, UNIX)
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills, problem resolution skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork
  • Experience working with international clients in USA and Europe
  • NetWeaver experience
  • Experience on an SAP Implementation teams and also SAP upgrades
