About the Role
  • We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our organization.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for building and deploying risk models, driving data-backed decision making, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop predictive models for unsecured personal loans, incorporating scorecards and early warning systems.
  • Design and deploy risk systems from scratch to support lending operations, ensuring seamless integration with existing workflows.
  • Drive informed decision making through data analysis, MIS reporting, and portfolio analytics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tech, product, and ops, to integrate risk models into business processes, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to underwriting automation workflows and process improvements, leveraging data-driven approaches to enhance business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Risk Analyst in the NBFC or lending space, with a strong understanding of lending processes and regulations.
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, PowerBI, and Excel for data analysis and modeling, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with RBI norms, compliance standards, and digital lending practices, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work with limited data or proxy indicators, applying sound judgment and analytical skills to make informed decisions.
