Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the shipping and logistics freight forwarding industry in India, including shipping and cargo movement rules and overall process requirements at different stages of cargo movement.

The role involves generating sales from new and existing customers, acquiring and retaining customers, increasing client base, and ensuring receivable management is under control to increase cash flow.

The successful candidate will also focus on all lines of business, including vertical development, client analysis on gross margin, volume, and profitability, and negotiation contracts.

In addition, they should be able to handle customer escalations, decipher customer needs, build relationships, manage budgets, and prioritize work time through effective planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Sales and business development experience

  • Degree in sales, marketing, logistics, supply chain, international trade, or related field
