Accounting Specialist Position

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team at PEPCS MANAGEMENT & ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS LLP.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in US Accounting, with experience in financial statement preparation, general ledger accounting, and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities will include performing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and journal entries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger accounts and financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and SOX
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in US Accounting, with a strong background in financial statement preparation and general ledger accounting
  • Proven experience with QuickBooks, including API integrations and automation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
