About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Development Lead to drive strategic direction and job monitoring for our batch jobs. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a significant impact in the field of database development.

  • The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in database and application development and support, with a proven track record of delivering high-performing SQL solutions.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acting as primary contact for user inquiries, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure seamless experience.
  • Developing operational processes, guidelines and best practices to streamline support operations and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Logging, prioritizing and collaborating on resolving bugs and complex technical issues.
  • Maintaining and supporting data ingestion tools and automation scripts.
  • Conducting quality and business logic checks on all data into and out of systems.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field.
Desirable Skills

The following skills would be beneficial:

  • Proven SQL Language Experience with highly performing SQL.
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting SSIS packages.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Sisense and SSRS.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of Data Modeling concepts.
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages.
