About the Role:

Maintenance professionals sought after to ensure seamless operation of machinery in a nutraceutical manufacturing environment. Ideal candidate will possess experience in machine rectification/maintenance and demonstrate strong understanding of food technology processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Ensure accurate and efficient production by operating and monitoring machinery as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Equipment Setup and Calibration: Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines to maintain optimal performance.
  • Routine Equipment Checks: Conduct regular checks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Quality Control: Maintain product quality standards during machine operations, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
  • Recording and Reporting: Accurately record machine operating data, production outputs, and downtime logs.
  • Maintenance Activities: Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with the engineering team.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment, following GHP and safety standards.
  • Audit Support: Assist during audits, inspections, and documentation verification.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in machinery rectification/maintenance within Nutraceuticals, Food Manufacturing, or Pharmaceuticals.
  • Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with blending, granulation, encapsulation, filling, or packaging machines required. Exposure to food technology processes (mixing, drying,) also necessary.
  • Soft Skills: Strong understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and hygienic practices essential. Ability to conduct and document in-process checks accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Certifications: Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or ISO 22000 desirable.
  • Additional Experience: Experience in supporting product development or scale-up trials beneficial.
