We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Business Risk and Control Senior Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and influencing governance and the facilitation of the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA) process.

About the Role:

">
  • Guide and influence governance and the facilitation of the MCA process.
  • Responsible for the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework.
  • Perform a detailed analysis on the identification of issue root cause and provide recommendations for holistic corrective actions.
  • Assist in directing teams in the implementation of Lessons Learned Policy.
  • Support review and challenge of the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks.
  • Direct teams on the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of the MCA through controls prior to the execution of a process.
  • Assess adherence to the MCA Standard through controls after the execution of a process.
  • Exercise control over Operational and Compliance Risk in accordance with established Policy requirements.
  • Allocate resource to identify, assess, escalate, and manage risk exposures across Risk Categories.
  • Assess Risk Appetite and monitor exposures against this in accordance with enterprise requirements.
  • Take ownership to identify, assess, record, and respond to Operational and Compliance Risk events.
  • Responsible that adequate governance and training are in place to support management of Risk profiles.
  • Assess the risks associated with New Activities and changes to the Business.
  • Support operational risk scenario analysis and stress testing for Operational Risk Capital requirements.
  • Take ownership of risk and control assessments or coordination for programs within various risk stripes.
  • Take ownership to ensure that risk and control responsibilities and accountabilities are embedded within Central Testing Utility.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and qualifications:

  • 14 years of experience in managing large teams.
  • Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
  • Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget, and planning.
  • Management of a global operations and a complex environment that includes global teams.
  • A strong sense of accountability and ownership, with strong results orientation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of operational risk and gap identification.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Exhibit problem-solving and decision-making skills.
