Safety and Environmental Compliance

Ensure 100% compliance with all safety standards and applicable recommendations related to the concerned area. Educate team members on "I know my job," "I know the hazards associated with my job, and I applied control measures," and "I escalate to my senior." Conduct daily Tool Box Talks as scheduled and before starting critical jobs.

Cost Control

Plan, monitor, and control spares and lubricants inventory, and manpower cost as per budget in Mech maintenance activities to optimize maintenance cost. Prepare budgets for coal mill areas. Monitor expenditures with respect to budgets. Identify maintenance cost reduction parameters.

System Management

Effectively implement all IMS and other systems requirements through involvement in continuous improvement in plant working conditions and quality standards. Identify and arrange rectification of leakage points/unsafe points, and monitor and take corrective action for emission levels. Focus on SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and monitor implementation activities for optimum plant availability in the Mechanical discipline as per targets to meet production from coal mill requirements and internal customer satisfaction. Coordinate challenging implementation/execution of maintenance activities.

Qualifications

BE/Diploma in Mechanical. 05 to 08 years of related experience.
