Secure Product Development Lead

We are seeking an expert to lead our product security efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing end-to-end security sign-off processes and coordinating with development teams.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will oversee security review workflows, manage exceptions, and facilitate cross-functional security program meetings. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining security metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end security sign-off processes across multiple product development streams.
  • Coordinate security review workflows, tracking timelines and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Lead security exception management program including intake, assessment coordination, and approval tracking.
  • Facilitate cross-functional security program meetings and stakeholder communications.
  • Develop and maintain security program metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in program/project coordination, preferably in security or risk domains.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with security review processes and exception management.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management principles.
  • Understanding of AI/ML project lifecycles and governance considerations.
  • Good communication skills with ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency in tracking tools, documentation systems, and process management.
  • Security-related certifications or training like Security+ (CompTIA), CISSP Associate or AI/ML Security.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Background in security operations or product development support.
