Job Summary:

We are seeking detail-oriented and experienced professionals to accurately assign codes for diagnostic and therapeutic medical imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret complex medical imaging reports to assign accurate codes for procedures and diagnoses.
  • Apply appropriate codes for vascular and non-vascular medical imaging procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, payer-specific requirements, and internal quality standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with medical coding guidelines and compliance regulations.
  • Support audits by providing detailed coding rationale and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in medical imaging coding.
  • Familiarity with medical workflow, RIS/PACS systems, and coding tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes.
